"BAA - is the worlds leading Airport Company, forecasting average traffic growth of 3.0% per annum for its three London airports over the next 10 years. In order to support this demand BAA has forecast it will spend approximately £6.8 billion over the next ten year period 2005/06 to 2014/15."

As a key partner to BAA for several years, Pinacl has successfully built a solid reputation for the delivery and support of a quality network infrastructure. In 2004, Pinacl Solutions were awarded a multi-year framework contract to support the IT Infrastructure of five airports, including Heathrow and Gatwick.

As a principal contractor, Pinacl have an extensive knowledge of operating in such a unique and demanding environment. Operations are often restricted by tight security procedures, extensive working distances (often over multiple sites) and extreme working schedules due to the time critical restrictions of a working airport.

Our reputation for delivery in the Airport environment continues to present opportunities outside of the BAA framework. In addition to the "Business as Usual" operations, Pinacl have been involved in a number of industry leading projects utilising the latest in innovative technology solutions. One such project is the Iris Scanning Project, developing and implementing Iris recognition software to provide the latest in access control security systems for airport personnel.

Pinacl have developed and implemented a significant investment in our airport operations to meet both current and further anticipated growth.
