Celsius™Core is the latest development of Pinacl's industry leading infrastructure management application, Celsius™. Celsius™ is an extremely powerful and flexible database application that provides client's with the ability to centrally manage, monitor and troubleshoot all of their ICT infrastructure.

Based on the industry standard MSQL database architecture, Celsius™ provides the flexibility and scalability to support an unlimited number of database records and concurrent users. Several existing Celsius™ clients have active databases supporting in excess of 1 million database records.

Celsius™ is also integrated within our Managed Services enhancing and streamlining a number of business processes:

  • Incident management – providing access to information and toolsets to identify and resolve any ITC infrastructure related incident. Celsius™ will speed up the resolution of the incident or avoid it altogether.
  • Problem management – minimize the adverse impacts of multiple incidents and problems on the business caused by errors in the IT infrastructure and initiate actions to prevent recurrence of incidents related to those errors. Celsius™ can identify who/what else will be affected by the problem and speed up the identification of potential workarounds.
  • Change Management/Release Management – providing access to Celsius™ information held on the active and passive IT infrastructure including end connected devices/users will enable all aspects of a change to be considered. This will assist in ensuring any adverse impacts of those changes to business operations and the users of IT services are minimized.
  • Service desk interaction – Celsius™ will provide Service Desk staff with access to information and toolsets to identify and resolve the problem themselves. If it has to be escalated to the IT personnel then Celsius™ will gather incident and relevant infrastructure related information to assist a speedy identification and resolution of the problem.
