Thomas Deacon Academy

Scheduled to open in September 2007, the Thomas Deacon Academy is currently the largest academy in the UK. Pinacl successfully secured a £2.3m contract last year to deliver the ICT and AV packages at the academy which is based in Peterborough. As a flagship project for using innovative technologies, the Thomas Deacon Academy will provide state of the art facilities for up to 2,200 pupils.

The ICT solution that Pinacl Solutions included four main packages incorporating Enterprise ICT including servers, PCs and software; telephony and communications infrastructure; a Smartcard system for electronic registration, cashless catering, and library book management; and audio-visual technologies including interactive whiteboards.

Pinacl Solutions have had a consultative approach along with comprehensive solutions knowledge which has provided a successful delivery.
