Desk Based Sales Person

Desk Based Sales Person (North Wales). Excellent Salary, Commission OTE + Company Benefits.

Due to our continued success the above vacancy has arisen based at our North Wales office.

The key responsibilities for the role will be to support the Sales Manager and team in the following areas:

  • Generate sales leads by contacting senior managers and key decision makers through targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Follow-up, qualify and close leads.
  • Prepare quotations and assist with pricing.
  • Account Management – develop relationships with existing customer base; handling customer sales enquiries.
  • Contribute to and support the team business plan.

The successful candidate will have previous telesales experience including cold-calling and the ability to close orders over the phone. A strong commercial awareness is required coupled with experience of working in an IT sales or marketing environment. In addition an understanding of data, voice and video technologies is desired.

Qualified to at least GCSE level A-C Maths and English (A-Level preferable), to succeed in this role you must also possess the following attributes:

  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS office applications
  • Team Player
