Site Engineer - BAA Stanstead, Overtime + On Call + Excellent Salary + Company Benefits

We are looking for an experienced engineer that is currently installing Cat 5E/Cat 6 structured cabling systems. Multimode/Singlemode Fibre optic cabling experience an advantage but not essential as well as telecommunications cabling internal & external works. The ability to demonstrate superior skills for the installation of cabling and containment such as basket/tray work, PVC, metal trunking and conduit would be preferred.

To succeed in this role you must also possess the following attributes:

• Good communication and self organisational skills
• Practical experience in large campus installations
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Operating knowledge of hand held testers
• Willingness to be part of an on call rota and provide cover at all Southern airports if required
• Pride in themselves and their work
• Existing security clearance or ability to pass airside vetting procedures
• CSCS and H&S awareness

This position is highly customer focussed where establishing professional working relationships internally and externally is key.
